Cat’s Corner continues on Tuesday evenings at 19.30-21.30 at Drabanten, Bangårdsgatan 13, throughout the autumn, up to and including 19 December. Come and social dance to the DJ! Free entrance.

Swing at Drabanten with the band Sultan Sam And His Syncopators!
The evening starts at 18.00 with a workshop in Lindy hop. Then there will be two dance floors 18.45-22.00. On one dance floor you can dance Lindy hop to a live band. On the second dance floor, there will be boogie woogie music by a DJ. U-town Lindy Hoppers will put on a show!
Admission: SEK 100 for members, SEK 200 for non-members.

The semester’s first Sugar Blues Saturday Swivel at Verkstan, Alsikegatan 6, Uppsala. The evening begins with a taster in Blues 19-20. Then there will be social dance to the DJ at 20.00-23.30. Blues on one dance floor and Balboa on the other dance floor! Fika buffet for SEK 20.

The semester’s second Shake Rattle and Roll at Drabanten, Bangårdsgatan 13, Uppsala, at 19.00-22.00. Come and dance Boogie woogie to DJ music! Free entry, fika buffet for SEK 30.
Saturday 11 November
The semester’s second Sugar Blues Saturday Swivel at Verkstan, Alsikegatan 6, Uppsala. Blues on one dance floor and Balboa on the other dance floor! This evening there will also be a live blues band: The Flexible Humans! SEK 50 entry to the blues dance floor, fika buffet for SEK 20.

Saturday 16 December
Swing evening at Drabanten with Tommy Löbel Swing Band, 18-22. At 18.00: lindy hop taster and mingle. From 19.00 there will be two dance floors, one for Lindy hop with live swing music, the other one with Blues music by a DJ. Entry SEK 100 for members, SEK 200 for non-members. Volunteers are needed for practical tasks during the evening: working in the café or at the entrance, helping with the setup, baking something for the cafe and more. Please mail Signe Rudberg Selin or fill in the volunteer schedule once it was released.
